Geralt rides back, Ciri at his side. He sees Lambert and Eskel first, surprised to see Eskel out of bed. He motions for Ciri to go on ahead and stops in front of his brothers. “Eskel? What are you doing out of bed? Is that my mattress?”

He can tell already that Eskel is doing better than he had been even this morning. It must be because his Leshen is dead, and the magic that Eskel had been plagued with dead alongside it.
